Zappos pay their newly hired employees to quit. It may seem controversial for some, but it actually makes pretty good business sense.

It's not like people are hunted out and forced to quit, but the option is there during their training days. We all make mistakes or have different perceptions of what things could be like. Sometimes people need a li'l push to make the right decision. Zappos offers $1000 as an incentive to quit and is often taken up. If you think of the savings they make, it's actually pretty smart.
